Pakistan reacts to renewed fire exchanges between Iran, US

Pakistan says it’s “concerned” about renewed attacks by the United States and Iran, with the escalation “undesirable”.

“We remain positive that the parties will return to the table for dialogue,” said the Foreign Ministry, Al Jazeera reported.

Pakistani military officials recently visited Tehran and created “considerable momentum” towards resolving the Strait of Hormuz crisis, it noted.
